Part of the features of the Russian S-70 "Okhotnik" drone is revealed
Unmanned aerial vehicles are being developed by all major countries of the world. Russian military engineers are also actively working in this direction and are even ready to share some of the features of domestic development. So on the TV channel "Zvezda" was shown material where the shock drone S-70 "Okhotnik" was presented.
Also chief designer S. Bibikov shared some of the features of the Russian drone.
So, according to the designer, the so-called prototype S-70 was demonstrated to the journalists, on which many new solutions will be worked out. And as the specialist emphasized, completely different modifications of the "Hunter" will go into the series.
Also, according to the specialist, the S-70 drone already has an information and control system implemented using artificial intelligence. And this enables the device to operate effectively, even when communication with the operator is completely lost. So the system will be able to at least return the S-70 to the base.
According to the designer, at the moment the engineers are working on an algorithm for the effective slowdown of the "Hunter" after landing (the device does not have a parachute system, and the location of the chassis makes taxiing quite difficult task).
And also the control point of the "Hunter" was shown, which occupies two containers at once. So in one of the containers there is an operator's point, in which two independent communication channels are used at once (to ensure reliability).
So the main task of the S-70 unmanned aerial vehicle will be to search for and transfer the coordinates of various targets directly to ship groupings.
Well, the race among countries in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles continues. And it is nice to know that the Russian Federation is at the forefront in this area.
