Humidity at the construction site: I am trying to get rid of it, but so far not very successful. How long will the house dry?
Of course, the construction site cannot do without wet processes. But it seems like a lot of time has passed, and the dampness is still like in the tropics, and most importantly, there is no concrete way out.
Friends, I am glad to welcome you. When I just started my construction path, and erected a box at home, I didn't really pay attention to comfort. The work went on in the rain and snow.
But when there is already a warm roof over your head, and rain and wind just outside the window, you want to improve the comfort further.
And the humidity is already annoying ...
- When you come to work and change clothes, you have to pull on damp clothes, it is very unpleasant.
- In the process, you also feel discomfort, you sweat from every movement.
- And the main thing is not clear when it will end ???
Moreover, I would not arrange a greenhouse for water ...
✔ The walls have been masonry for more than two years, and the same amount of wood, which is in the ceiling and rafters. Everything has dried up long ago.
✔ The only thing is that the screed was poured recently, only a month has passed.
But there is not such a large volume (50 mm thick) to give moisture for so long. And it looks like everything is nowhere dry ...
- At the same time, I constantly ventilate by opening the windows.
- I even got my own dehumidifier from the basement.
But somehow nothing really changed.
And recently he began to push through his new stove.
And a seemingly positive dynamics is outlined when the room heats up to 25 ° C, and you open the windows to release all this warm and humid air.
But all the same, it is worth not drowning the day, and everything again returns to almost the same indicators.
Or maybe I'm rushing things?
- While aerated concrete from the inside is not finished with anything. It takes moisture and gives it away not only to the outside, but also to the inside of the room.
- Especially considering that the heating, though frequent, is still periodic.
- The screed may still be damp from below. And continues to dry.
There are many questions and assumptions, but the result is the same, while it's damp ...
Friends, I look forward to your opinion and advice in the comments. Maybe it's time to organize a normal ventilation system, or while construction, nothing will help ???
