I took from a friend eucharis, which never bloomed, but from me in two weeks
In September, I went to a friend of mine to exchange dahlias. I have grown two huge tubers, which I have divided. And I made an announcement in the group of our village "Vkontakte" that I was changing white dahlias to red or yellow. My friend responded, to whom I went in the evening with a package containing a tuber.
I came to her, she offered me tea in the gazebo, I agreed with pleasure. But first, of course, she showed me her garden and garden - how without it! And near the compost heap, I saw a pot with a large eucharis. I recognized him by the juicy leaves.
I really like this flower, once I had it. But our son was allergic to cereal pollen as a child. And for safety reasons, just in case, we removed all flowering plants from the apartment altogether. Only deciduous ones remained.
Now the son has grown up, went to study in the city. It is not often at home, and the allergies are no longer there. So I want to have a few pots of beautifully flowering plants at home again. For example, amaryllis and eucharis.
I asked the owner of the garden why she was throwing away such a healthy flower. But she replied that he had been living with her for the second year, and had never bloomed. Then I asked to give it to me. I thought that I would try to plant, divide and feed. She agreed, I took a flower, a dahlia tuber, and after tea I went home happy.
But when I looked in the florist's guide (a Soviet edition, I only trust him for flower care and in no case - not the Internet), I saw that it is better to divide eucharis in early spring. So I just transplanted it into a new pot instead of the almost crumbling plastic planter in which they gave it to me.
And I forgot about him, only watered like other flowers. Imagine my surprise when, after two weeks, my eucharis bloomed - threw out a gorgeous peduncle and blossomed the most delicate, daffodil-like, snow-white flowers.
I know that this flower is called the Amazonian lily, and it is a female flower. In a house where a woman does not live very well, he does not bloom, or dries up. But they gave me a flower with bright, good leaves. He simply did not want to give away his main treasure - beautiful flowers. However, without any effort on my part, it bloomed. And after the first, he released the second pipe with an even more magnificent color.
Now I admire these fragile eucharises and hope that in the spring, when I plant this large specimen, I will have some new plants. Maybe it will be possible to exchange it, for example, for amaryllis, which I have also dreamed of for a long time.
By the way, on the Internet, many different nonsense are written about this flower. For example, if there are disagreements between spouses in the house, or the children do not obey, they study poorly, then you need to have a eucharis.
Imagine - as if by magic - everything will be fine in the family due to the fact that a pot with a certain flower has appeared. Well, what nonsense - who, in general, invents it?
One more thing: eucharis is a "treasure of energy" - a flower restores the energy of its owners, peace of mind and gives new strength. That is, you can not eat, not sleep, but just sit near the blooming eucharis and go back to work. Isn't it stupid?
Nevertheless, I am glad for my new treasure, I advise everyone to have such a flower, especially to those who believe in all sorts of signs.
