Not a scary late white cabbage

I was afraid to plant white cabbage for one reason - someone will eat it (caterpillars, flea, ants, but anyone!)

That is, it was necessary to run regularly sprayed with biological products and water, and what for?

By the way, we still managed to eat up a little:

Colored, Peking, broccoli seemed to me at least worth experiencing, and white... Heads of cabbage are always cheap. Although, whether it is suitable for salting or for stuffed cabbage, you usually do not know. And the taste is not ah.

To plant or not to plant? I won't!

As a result, by chance, already on June 10, I bought and planted seedlings of Kharkov late cabbage. I thought:

1. Place left
2. One wave of cruciferous flea has already passed
3. Just medium-sized heads of cabbage will turn out as I like
4. If she doesn't rush to tie up (which she did almost all summer), I won't worry, the wrong princess
5. Heads of cabbage promise to be dense, which means they are ideal for borsch, for stewing, for salting

In general, Kharkovskaya gives large heads of cabbage, but as she planted it late and the summer was hot, it turned out to be my favorite size:

Well, where do we go to a small family of giants! Even if you need a lot of cabbage at a time, this one is more convenient to cut like a toy in your hands. Is a lot going to waste? We love our compost too!

And now nothing but this cabbage is growing. So, she is the first beauty, the revitalization of the garden landscape! I am glad that I planted her, that it was late, that she was in no hurry to tie herself up, and I was not worried. Good culture!
