About leaves from a good ornamental garden
I have read this story for a long time, I hope to convey it correctly. It’s a pity, I don’t remember where it happened, perhaps the Leningrad Region.

Most likely, it was a virus from the same garden. He did not harm trees and shrubs, and tomatoes no longer grow. The advice was: completely replace the soil.
How do I make warm beds
1 way - in the open field
- In a trench 30 cm deep, I bury plant residues, mainly tomato stems cut with a pruner and the fruits themselves. A small layer so that there is more contact with the soil, and therefore with microorganisms.
- For tamping, walking, walking on this green layer is a pleasure.
- After that, on top of Bokashi this year. There are bacteria that do not like oxygen, so at the bottom they belong.
- I bury it. And then the rain will do its job. Even if the garden bed is not warm in spring, does not have time, then heating will go in summer, food will be better absorbed, and there will be no such heat as from burning manure.
In such a bed, not a single pathogenic fungus survives on plant debris, because they love oxygen, there is none at depth. Approximately 6 cm of the soil layer is their habitat, and here on top of 20 cm of the earth is obtained.
Many people make a thicker pie from dissimilar plant debris, but my cabbages, zucchini, etc., and in compost is good, but warm beds for your favorite tomatoes, it is for tomatoes that they grow well, everything is ready-made, nothing superfluous.
Method 2 - in a greenhouse
The same method is good for the formation of new high beds.
In a high bed, where there is a place in height, I cut the remains of tomato stems, add, if any, an EM preparation, cover it with earth. The layer of earth, due to circumstances, it happens that it is completely thin, there is no more space. Watering is essential and essential.
These beds in early spring will require attention: watering with biological products against diseases and pests, watering with Flora S. But they work great!
The main thing is that I try very carefully to bring something to the site. For example, this year "allowed" hay from the Reserve. For 1000 p. lucky to buy a whole roll with delivery. This is a mulch, including for warm beds.
