That the nuclear powered vehicle was launched by a Long March 2C rocket was reported in the Financial Times. The publication's specialists came to the conclusion that the launch was successful after thoroughly analyzing the official statistics of the Celestial Empire on national space programs.

So it was established that the PRC did not report the 77th flight of the 2C, making only a statement about the 76th and 78th launch. At the same time, the last launch was carried out in the second half of August.

According to The Drive, the hypersonic unit missed the training target and deviated from it by several tens of kilometers, but the American military was still very worried about this test and here is why reason.

Why Americans are so interested in this test

American military experts express their extreme concern primarily because the very ability to perform maneuvering at hypersonic speed, as well as the ability to overcome such a huge distance, in fact, makes air defense systems useless.

After all, the systems are primarily designed to track objects moving in the atmosphere at more or less known speeds and along understandable ballistic trajectories. It is simply impossible to track objects moving at hypersonic speed and along an unpredictable trajectory.

In confirmation of this fact, there is such a moment that the very date of the test launch had to be calculated from the official data provided by Beijing. The fact that the block "missed" indicates that the Chinese specialists should only make adjustments to the so-called navigation blocks and no more.

China denies everything

But as the official representatives of the Celestial Empire reported, in fact, during the period indicated by the Americans tests were carried out not of a new hypersonic combat missile, but of a spacecraft with the possibility of repeated use.

According to Chinese experts, the tests being carried out will make it possible in the future to create reusable spacecraft, which will favorably affect the cost of further space exploration space.
