Homemade materials for construction and repair (thermal paint, gutter, SIP panels, roofing, brick, wood concrete)
Each of us is trying to improve our life, save money on the purchase of various devices, materials and make them with our own hands.
Homemade materials
1. Popular now SIP panels for building a house. We do it ourselves: apply glue on the OSB sheet (thickness from 10 mm) and lay the foam (grade 25). On top of it, glue again and then a second sheet of OSB. Put all this under the press. As a press, you can put a flat sheet of plywood, and on it bags of cement.
2. Gutters for the roof, you can also make, and not buy ready-made. Some people use sewer pipes with a diameter of 100 mm.
Cut the pipes lengthwise and fasten them to the roof. If your area has harsh winters, then brown pipes will do. For fastening, use purchased gutter holders, as well as clamps, plugs.
3. We do arbolite do it yourself. Required materials: sand, cement, sawdust. You will also need bars, screws, boards. You need to make a shape from boards without a bottom with handles.
Prepare a mixture (cement and sand 1: 1, water). Pour the solution into a mold and ram it on top. They are immediately removed from the mold and left to solidify for a day.
4. Homemade brick. White building material is made from lime and sand, and red from clay. You will need oily clay, additives, plywood, cement, water, boards. To reduce the fat content of clay, it is mixed with sand, sawdust or husk (up to 16%).
A form is hammered out of the boards. The clay mass is laid and rammed. Consider that the clay shrinks.
5. Homemade shingle roofing material according to old Siberian technologies. In the old days there was a special machine called "Mahalo".
Now such a shingle is not difficult to make yourself with the help of a cutter and a mallet. Shingles, like all lumber, are not resistant to moisture. To avoid negative consequences, the shingles must be treated with some formulations (for example, Neomid impregnation) before laying.
Not suitable for a house, but for a bath, a gazebo, a shed, a canopy will do.
6. Heat resistant paint. And they do it on their own. You will need aluminum powder and liquid glass.
Mix to a regular paint consistency. For 100 gr. liquid glass will need a spoonful of silver.
Some make thermal paint from ordinary lime. To bind the lime powder, wood glue is used.
