Mars rover Perseverance is back in touch and has already sent new high-quality photos of the red planet
After a forced pause, the NASA Perseverance rover is back in service and ready for new scientific research and discoveries. The engineers successfully re-established communications after a fairly long downtime and even managed to take a number of high-quality photographs of the surface of Mars.

The forced pause, during which NASA engineers were unable to contact Perseverance, lasted for about a month. Such a long break was connected not with technical problems, but with the peculiarity of the arrangement of the planets.
So, starting from the end of September and almost until the end of October, the Earth and Mars were located in such a way that our Sun was between them.
Such a special arrangement of the planets, which, incidentally, happens every two years, led to the fact that any communication with the Red Planet was simply impossible. Knowing this, NASA engineers prepared the rover in advance for the pause, which it endured perfectly.
Immediately after the resumption of communication, the device sent a series of high-quality images to Earth, which were published to the general public on the rover's official Twitter account.
During the absence of communication, the rover was engaged in photographing surrounding objects, also studied weather phenomena, and after the restoration of communication received a software update.

Immediately after the restoration of communication, the rover continued its mission, which began on February 18, 2021. It was on this day that the rover landed in the Jezero crater and began to study the pre-planned site.
