How to repair a screwdriver battery in 2 minutes?
They brought me an inoperative screwdriver. I disassembled the batteries, checked the performance of each element and restored them using the deep burn-through method.
How unpleasant it is when a tool breaks. And most often it is not the tool itself that fails, but the battery. And this, by the way, is the most expensive part. The battery often costs about the same as the tool itself. Therefore, once again you think - to replace only the battery or to overpay a little and buy a new screwdriver.
The problem with batteries is that they no longer hold a charge. And to reanimate them, you need to restore the battery capacity. Here's how to do it.
In order for the screwdriver battery to hold the charge as good as new, you will need a 12 Volt car battery and two wires.
Prepare two copper wires and strip the edges. Place the wiring harness over the car battery terminals and secure. Any copper wire can be used. Better still, it was thick-walled high-voltage wiring. Be sure to pay attention to the poles.
Next, you need to connect the screwdriver battery to the car battery. Plus and minus should converge: minus - to minus, plus - to plus. Plus, you can fix, and for minus, you need to give 10 short impulses. To do this, simply touch the wire for a second and remove it. Repeat this 10 times.
After this procedure, you need to put the battery on charge and charge it to the end. Next, you need to pump the battery, as is done with a new tool. That is, you need to charge the battery to the end, and then discharge it until it is completely disconnected. Then we set to charge again.
If you notice that the battery does not hold a charge very well, it is worth repeating the procedure again with impulses from the car battery. You will increase the battery capacity and give it a "second life".
Here is such a simple way, thanks to which the battery from the screwdriver will serve for a very long time.
