The space industry is developing by leaps and bounds, and in addition to scientific interest there is also tourism. It is already clear that in the near future space tourism will become quite commonplace, which means that we need to actively prepare for this already.

Russia does not want to lag behind world trends either. So, in particular, Roskosmos received a patent for a tourist spacecraft, which will provide for the possibility of going into outer space.

What is known about the Russian tourist apparatus

The Russian company Energia (part of Roscosmos) received a patent for a reusable space a ship designed for suborbital tourist flights, as well as performing high-altitude jumps from parachute.

The patent says that the above inventions relate to the design and control of a spacecraft. reusable with vertical takeoff and landing with the possibility of using the product in space tourism.

I would like to note that it is the suborbital type of flight that is indicated in the documents. Let me remind you that two American private companies have already made similar flights and even took tourists in this way.

It is also indicated in the documentation that during the flight the crew will be in a state of weightlessness for about three minutes, and that the most interesting thing is that the crew will even have the opportunity to go into open space. But it is not known how this can be done in just three minutes.

At the same time, the maximum flight altitude of the device can be 100 km, and this is just the case. called the border of the Karman line - the line of demarcation of the planet's atmosphere and open space space.

Well, it's nice to know that the Russian Federation, at least in the person of Roscosmos, is participating in the space race. But, unfortunately, this is just a patent, and when we see a Russian tourist spacecraft in metal, the question is open.
