Porcelain stoneware is a relatively new floor covering. In the homes of ordinary people, it is almost nonexistent. And no wonder - it is quite expensive compared to linoleum or even laminate. Laying it requires special precision and skill.
In addition, porcelain stoneware is a cold coating, so it is advisable to build a warm floor system under it. Also, the pleasure is not cheap.
But I really want to have a "carpet" of porcelain stoneware in the hallway. Of course, none of our friends have this, which inspires me especially.
I saw such patterns in the store, I liked it and now, finally, the required amount is available, the water-heated floor is laid, the screed is dry. You can go buy tiles.
High-quality porcelain stoneware looks very beautiful, at first glance, it is difficult to distinguish it from parquet or laminate.
There is a wide variety of colors and shades.
The sizes of the tiles are also very different. Of course, large, it looks better and its price is significantly higher. But laying such a tile is cheaper, and fewer defects will be allowed.
The patterned tiles that I really want to have are often square and not the most expensive. Therefore, I once again made sure that you need to take just such a set in order to fold the drawing.
But when we looked at all the samples, we suddenly saw a very tempting discount for light wood-like tiles.
And after a few steps, another shade of porcelain stoneware is also at a serious discount - from 1,029 rubles to 778 rubles per square meter.
This tile is probably of better quality than the one I would like to see on my floor. But, on reflection, I realized that even bought at a discount, such porcelain stoneware would not give me pleasure.
After all, I wanted exactly the "carpet". And I will buy it, it's decided!
