A cool alternative to trendy wallpapers and stylish decorative plaster. 6 illustrative examples
Plain painted walls are extremely popular today. They can be found in glossy magazines, on TV, and on the Internet. And why? Yes, because they are an excellent background for decoration of any color, size and configuration. And many, hoping to repeat what they saw at home, set themselves the goal of painting the walls blue, yellow, green, pink, etc. Not knowing what time (in terms of money), their dream will become them ?!
Good afternoon dear friends!
And I'll tell you - it's expensive! For to paint a surface in any color, it must be properly prepared and only then painted. And it costs money, and a lot! And so that you do not spend extra money, saving the family budget, I propose to decorate the walls with my own hands. Very little is needed for this: materials for drawing, careful preparation, the idea itself and a little time. You will have to cope with the first, second and fourth on your own, but interesting options for wall decoration I have prepared in this material.
By the way, the lack of artistic ability shouldn't stop you. Since the solutions below are available for everyone to implement.
1.Monochrome pattern. If you think that many different colors are needed to create a picture on a wall, then you are wrong. Since often one single shade is enough, added to the paint in different proportions. And applying such an image is quite simple! The darkest color is applied in the center, lighter ones on the sides.
This technique works great for drawing any geometric shapes. In this case, the colors and shapes of the pattern used do not matter much.
2.The same type of drawing. Don't believe the stereotype that a drawing should be big and bright. The pattern, modest in color and size, can also make the interior stylish and original. For example, a textured effect can be painted with simple flat brush strokes. In this case, individual "traces" can be different both in length and in color saturation. But in general, the lines should be relatively straight.
And keep in mind that the wall is not painted over with straight stripes, but with sections. Therefore, the work has to be rather monotonous, because there are really a lot of strokes to be done. But the end result will be amazing!
3.Bright accent. Do you want to add a bright touch to the decor of your apartment? Easily! Draw a rainbow. It is ideal for decorating a wall, for example at a work table or dining console table. But when you create it, you will have to move away from the classic colors and the number of lines. And use different color combinations and strip thicknesses. Only this approach will give the drawing individuality and dynamism.
And if you don’t know which colors are better to choose for your interior, then I recommend depicting the familiar rainbow, but with pastel colors.
4.Almost wallpaper. Can't live without wallpaper? No problem! Draw a simple pattern of dark (black, dark blue, or dark green) dots on the white wall. To do it, take a brush, apply larger dots with it, then smaller dots between them, etc. Don't try to follow a pattern, draw randomly.
If you still doubt your abilities, then practice first on a white sheet of paper. Then get to work. This step will help you to additionally determine the "dosage" of stains per square meter. m.
5.Graphic composition. Did you know that a sketch from the simplest shapes can turn into a real painting? No! Then I propose to arm yourself with a stencil, masking tape and start creating a masterpiece. In which the circle will be the sun, small stripes of clouds, large sea, arches of trees or buildings.
During "work" do not be afraid to use bright colors. Let them stand out against a restrained monochromatic background and thereby create an unforgettable impression.
6.Terrazzo style. And finally, terrazzo has been an extremely popular pattern for the past few years! So, in order to draw it, you first need to choose shades that match the color scheme of the room's interior. And then reproduce it on the wall, which is quite simple: take brushes of different sizes and make multi-colored spots on the surface.
Be warned, don't try to paint any speckled pattern. A real terrazzo doesn't have one. The spots are located strictly chaotically.
