I give drawings of two demanded devices in a home workshop
It is good to have ready-made machines and tools for solving any carpentry tasks, but for various reasons this is far from always possible. Therefore, there is a need for various hand-made devices.
Next, I propose drawings of a pair of homemade products that turned out to be most in demand when working with wood.
First
The first device is designed for assembling wood products using dowels.
I made this device almost 8 years ago and it is still in demand in my workshop.
The device is very simple and is a special platform for the router.
With its help you can
- Drill holes for dowels both along the edge and along the plane.
- Make symmetrical holes at the same distance from the edge of the part.
- Make a row of holes at the same pitch.
- Along the plane, you can make a series of holes anywhere.
- It is also possible for them to make grooves.
Drawings of this attachment for a router can be viewed below or downloaded from the links.
These are the drawings for the router DIOLD MEF-1,1 - you can download them link.
Drawings that can be adapted for other models of milling cutters can be downloaded from this link. The archive contains the model for SketchUp.
Second
The second is something that no joinery can do without and which is never enough.
These are drawings of clamps that have shown themselves well when gluing panels and when assembling wood products.
Despite the fact that they are made of wood, these clamps have shown high efficiency in practice.
They are lightweight and therefore convenient when assembling wood products. They also provide sufficient force for gluing the shields. In the proposed sizes, the clamps allow you to tighten products with a width of more than 1 meter.
Drawings of these clamps can be downloaded from this link.
In addition, I suggest looking at a few more publications about homemade clamps.
Thanks for reading. I would be glad to have your support in the form of a like and a subscription to the channel. And see other publications on the channel.
