Several years ago I installed a septic tank in a village from used tires from KrAZ. They were given away for free, because they were completely worn out. It took 6 tires for the septic tank. Then I did not know yet that some craftsmen turn these tires into something that has a cost of 32 thousand. rub. per set (4 pcs.). Prices can be viewed on ad sites for tires-rims.
Almost any worn-out tire from a URAL, KamAZ, KrAZ or GAZ-66 truck can be turned into such tires for all-terrain vehicles.
This is done by cutting and peeling the upper rubber layer. The tire gets a new tread and turns into a reduced pressure tire. For all-terrain vehicles, the production of which has recently appeared quite a lot. The most famous, probably, is the SHERP all-terrain vehicle, but it is on factory-made low-pressure tires. Cheaper models and even garage-made models use just rim tires.
Some models of ATVs on these tires can even move on water. Serial UAZs and Nivas will also be converted to rim tires. And cars acquire a completely different level of cross-country ability.
How are tires peeled? You don't need a special tool for this. And there is nothing difficult in stripping used tires. The stop pipe can be concreted in the corner of the garage. Pruning is done using a regular clerical knife (more expensive), pliers and an electric winch with a cable.
First, mark the tread with a white marker. As a rule, all the old tread is scrapped. Next, you need to remove the metal wire from the inner landing rim. A groove is cut, the wire is hooked and pulled out by the winch.
It is convenient to carry out the process on a low metal table with a vertically welded pipe (support for the busbar). Someone uses pliers to hook the pieces of tires, and some use homemade clamps. After peeling, ID-P284 tires change their weight from 90 kg to 30 kg.
Some off-road vehicle manufactures, who have put their business in serial production, buy used tires and strip them for their models themselves.

Where can I find used tires? Perhaps, at the sawmills, you will be advised by the contacts of the URAL owners, who delivers the timber to them. They always have used tires. Or contact the trucking companies where these cars are available. Will they give away for free, but for 1000 rubles / piece. - a very realistic price.
Tire rim customers are mostly ATV operators or manufacturers. Remote customers will have to send the tires by transport companies. To do this, you need a trailer to the car in order to deliver it to the TC warehouse.
It may not be possible to open a full-fledged business on this, but additional earnings may well be. Perhaps this idea will seem interesting to someone and he himself decides to assemble an all-terrain vehicle on such rim tires.
