According to WHO data, the problem of lack of electricity continues to be quite relevant even in our time. Of course, the number of people living without it is steadily decreasing. These companies have created a device that can generate electricity from salty sea water. Moreover, at the same time it is able to play the role of a flashlight and a charger for a mobile phone.
To get electricity, it is enough to pour only two cups of sea water into the device. Moreover, water is used in it as an electrolyte interacting with magnesium. "Recharging" with two cups of water is enough to keep the device running for 45 days.
In early 2021, fifty such lamps were sent to the poorest remote South American communities. As a result, the children of the poor got the opportunity to do their homework in the evenings. And the fishermen of this community will now be able to go out for night fishing.

But the creators of the device do not want to stop there. They intend to scale their business in order to electrify other areas of the globe that are inaccessible to standard methods.
How to use 3D printed houses
