How to make automatic sliding gates
Easy-to-use sliding gates that move to the side when opened will save the usable space of the site. Their main differences are ease of installation, long service life, aesthetic appearance. They are made of corrugated board attached to a metal frame. The use of this material will protect the site from gusts of wind, and will also help reduce the noise level in the territory. The process of installing the gate with your own hands is simple. The main thing to pay attention to is the correct preparation and the requirements of the manufacturer.
Blueprints
The design of sliding gates provides for the installation of supporting elements, due to which the feigned and supporting frames are supported. The foundation, designed for a gate with a door leaf measuring 3.5 m, should have an underground depth of 1.5 m and a height above the ground of 2.5 cm. The support frame requires a large foundation to be poured, since a significant part of the load will fall on it. The length of the foundation is 2.4 m, the width is 0.5 m. It will also be necessary to fill a small plinth under the mock frame. Its length and width are 50 cm and 30 cm, respectively. A detailed layout of the support sections should be drawn up - this will contribute to error-free pouring and installation of frames.

Foundation pouring for sliding gates
The brand of concrete used for pouring the foundation is from M200. Before pouring trenches, reinforcement should be performed. For it, rods of 12 mm in diameter are used. Such a base should stand for at least a week.
Sliding gate assembly sequence
The work is carried out following the instructions supplied with the set of elements. However, it would be useful for the performer to familiarize himself with the description below. This algorithm contributes to faster and more accurate work and helps to create a reliable design.
- The sliding canvas and the corner frame are connected using M8 bolts.
Openings in the gate and frame are closed with plastic plugs.
- A guide rail is fixed at the bottom of the gate and leaf.
From the inside of the gate, throughout the entire joint between the tire and the door leaf, a C-profile is fastened with roofing screws.
Kits are installed in the attached profile, which include screws, embedded plates and double-sided nuts.
- The gear rack, in accordance with the factory holes, is attached to the double-sided nuts.
- Pay attention to how far the slats are located from each other - it should not exceed 1-2 mm. When the elements are correctly positioned, the double-ended nut is clamped tighter, securely fixing the installed components.
If sliding gates are mounted on rollers, you should also tighten the bolts, through which the side rail is screwed to the fasteners located on the profile. The drawings and photographs attached to the instructions make it possible to verify the correctness of the actions performed.
- The supporting and pretend frames are mounted on pre-prepared foundations according to the level - marking is carried out for this purpose, and holes are prepared.
- The presence of differences between the bases is not allowed.
Wedge anchors M12 are used for fixing.
Adjustment of the pillars is carried out strictly vertically.
- The remaining components are assembled and fixed - fasteners for rollers and rollers. Before they are installed, it is necessary to accurately mark the site and exclude minor slopes of the frames and drops on the plane. The first fastening is carried out at a distance of 10 cm from the support frame. Neighboring fasteners are 1.335 m apart.
When the fasteners are prepared, roller bearings are installed.
- The rollers are mounted in a support frame using a small tire.

- To make the gate move soft and neat, rubberized rollers should be fixed along the edges of the corner frame.
