With prolonged use, USB cords tend to fray and become unusable. In order to fix this, we take a heat-shrinkable cambric of the required color, cut off the desired length. Using thin-nosed pliers, stretch the workpiece and put it on the cord. Cambric shrinks when heated, so we take a gas burner and heat the workpiece. We clean the joints.

Cleanliness for minor repairs

If you need to make a hole in the wall, and cleaning was not part of your plans at all, then a plastic bottle can help in this case. We cut it in the form of a cone, apply it to the wall and drill a hole through it. All dust and small debris will remain in the bottle.
