Spring is a great time when you want and can take care not only of the inner beauty of your house or apartment (interior), but also about the external attractiveness of the facade of a townhouse, the adjoining territory of a country house or a land plot in the country. And here, as you understand, you can’t do without flowers or street plants.

Good afternoon dear friends!

There is only one question: what to plant in a "flower bed" or in a street planter to please yourself all summer, while making a minimum of effort? After all, many plants fade very quickly, fall off and wither. And as a result, they have to be changed to others or planted new ones. Which in modern realities is extremely expensive both in time and financially. So, in order to make your task easier and help you save money in this matter, I picked up 6 outdoor plants that are almost evergreen and also bloom for a very long time.

1.Hellebore. If you want to start pleasing yourself with flowers as early as possible, then pay attention to hellebore or wintering. Its flowering begins immediately after the snow melts. And it can decorate your site for up to 10 years, as it is a perennial. The main thing is to plant it in the right place. He needs good drainage and hellebore prefers to grow in partial shade or shade, as the bright sun burns his leaves.

An exceptionally beautiful plant that, even after flowering, continues to decorate the area with its foliage.

2.Fuchsia. Another great decoration for the site, because fuchsia blooms from May to October. You only need to prune the wilted inflorescences regularly to keep the flower garden looking smart and tidy. A landing site should be chosen in partial shade or where there is scattered sunlight. Unfortunately, in the northern latitudes, fuchsia is an annual.

Fuchsia flowers have a rich set of colors. They come in orange, cream, white, blue, pink, lilac and purple. You will have plenty to choose from!

3.Gaur Lindheimer. The plant is extremely unpretentious and suitable for breeding novice gardeners. It is able to decorate your yard from June to August. The main thing is to take care of the seedlings in advance (February - March, and you can plant it under the film in April), and then choose a well-lit place for it, remembering to maintain a sufficient interval between plants.

If the winter turned out to be warm, then next year you most likely will not have to re-plant gaura, since its seeds winter very well in the soil.

4.Verbena of Buenos Aires. An interesting specimen that blooms from late spring to the first autumn frosts. Its special difference is a long straight trunk with an almost complete absence of foliage. At the same time, verbena grows up to 120 cm, so it is advisable to combine it with shorter plants in a flower bed. Then your flower garden will be lush and beautiful all summer long.

Be sure to prune the vervain flowers as they wither. Thanks to this, new flower stalks will constantly appear.

5.Snapdragon. Do not know how to decorate a flower bed near the house effectively and at minimal cost? No problem! Pay attention to this plant. Since snapdragons can be presented in one area and in the form of a high grade (up to 120 cm), and in the form of an average (up to 60 cm), and in the form of a low one (up to 40 cm). And so they will all bloom from the beginning of June until the first frosts, thereby creating a bright flower garden thanks to a rich and varied color palette.

But keep in mind - snapdragons love the sun and are afraid of the cold. It is mainly grown from seedlings.

6.Four-season mimosa. Well, this copy is not for everybody. Since mimosa is a rather capricious plant that prefers a humid, warm climate. And this means that it is better to grow it at home, and only take it outside for the summer. At the same time, be delicate and careful with mimosa. She doesn't like sudden changes of scenery.

For example, on the street for the first time it will have to be shaded, otherwise the sun will burn its leaves. And it will be possible to remove such “protection” only after a few days, when the plant gets used to more intense lighting. In general, a demanding, but extremely interesting representative of the flora!
