In order to use the ashes to get rid of cabbage pests. it is necessary to add one more component to it - laundry soap.
The recipe is quite simple: for 10 liters of water you need to add 0.5 kg. ash and 0.5 bar of laundry soap. For convenience, the latter is recommended to grate beforehand.
All components should be thoroughly mixed and left in this state for 24 hours. Next, you can process the cabbage with a spray gun.
Some gardeners use a rather interesting method to get rid of cabbage butterflies. Pieces of egg shells should be laid out on heads of cabbage. Butterflies take them for their relatives. so they don't sit in their seats.
Ammonia is no less effective in this regard. Here, too, it is necessary to prepare a solution: in 10 l. dissolve 50 ml of water. ammonia.

Salt solution, which is prepared according to the following principle: 2 tbsp. salt dissolved in 10 liters of water.
According to an identical scheme, an acetic solution can be prepared, which is no less effective. Pour 2-3 tbsp into a bucket of water. vinegar and mix well.
Such a pungent smell will scare away pests, but at the same time the solution itself will not harm the vegetable crop.
It is good to lay out branches of wormwood in cabbage aisles. The grass is bitter. has a not particularly pleasant aroma that repels potential pests. Hydrated lime has the same effect.
Using these simple and inexpensive remedies will help keep your cabbage safe and sound while protecting it from pest attacks. It is better to carry out processing in the morning and evening hours, in warm and dry weather.
