Russian scientists have synthesized a new type superconductors

The new word in superconductivity

As you know, there are two types of superconductors: the conductors belonging to the first type retain their conductivity when exposed to strong magnetic fields, and the second type also retains conductivity when exposed to weak magnetic fields.

But all the theoretical calculations, it was clear that, most likely, there is a so-called intermediate type superconductors.

And Russian scientists were able to obtain the theoretically predicted material of opals and tin which is sufficiently easily moves from the superconducting state back to normal.

How to Create Content

A unique material is created on the basis of silicon oxide, which is known to be able to change the superconductivity depending on the particle size. Wherein the voids in the silicon oxide were filled with molten tin.
