Replacement of an old fence with a new one using a plastic-mesh netting
On my site over time, and looked rotten wooden fence. It was necessary to replace it, determine the materials. I opted for the plastic mesh-netting. As the seller assured me: it does not rot, does not rust and has a nice appearance. Cell sizes different, I chose the smaller ones.
To replace the fence I needed:
- wooden poles, the number depends on the perimeter portion, the distance between the posts 1 - 1,5m;
- cement, sand, concrete or ready solution - 25 kg;
- a plastic-mesh netting, it also depends on the yardage perimeter portion;
- reechki for fixing netting.
We dig a pit depth columns 1 - 1.5 meters. This figure depends on the height of a column, but since the net height of 1.5 - 2 meters, it is not necessary to use higher posts. Set columns and ramming: gravel or crushed brick. Then pour the solution and give cool. Doing this work with each post, start to pull the net, using rail, which is attached by nails.
The result was a fence, which is quite economical and perfectly transmits sunlight, plants need the beds. If it confuses the "transparency" can be planted around the perimeter of a bush. But you should pay attention to the fact that the plastic mesh is not as strong as metal, so do not choose shrubs, that hang on the fence: raspberry, hawthorn, gooseberry, currants, etc. You can sow every year along the fence corn, which I I tried.
View of the fence I liked, but there are doubts about the correct mounting of the grid. Perhaps more appropriate option would be to nail down long slats above and below the pillars, and to them already mesh, also secured the top rails.
