Heating in a private house with his own hands

When carrying out repairs and redevelopment home, all the heating system for the convenience was cut. Old system consisted of steel pipes 50 mm in diameter. Without any radiators.

I warmed it well, but quickly cooled. The system was designed to AOGV boiler with an expansion vessel, and has generally been made correctly. But after the replacement of the boiler AOGV mounted on double-gated boiler has lost relevance and has become uneconomical.

New heating system, it was decided to perform in one pipe version. I did not want to fence web of pipes and drill a lot of holes in the walls. common "Leningradka" was selected from one pipe circuits. It can reduce heat loss in the last radiator. The scheme provided jumpers extending from the main thoroughfare. Jumpers need to redirect the coolant, bypassing radiator. Accordingly, the outlet water temperature is almost, such as at the entrance.

Also on the bridge each radiator was raised crane. Cranes are set as input and output. Now you can adjust the temperature on each radiator and unplugged separate cooler for repair or replacement.

For wiring the new heating system chosen reinforced polypropylene tubes. Trunk diameter of 32mm, 25mm bridge. Fittings, including cranes, too, made of polypropylene.

polypropylene Advantages:

- ease of installation;

- on the walls do not grow fat;

- long service life;

- do not rust and will not rot;

- do not rattle and noise;

- a firm connection at the joints;

- acceptable price.

There are shortcomings, but they no longer apply to the use of pipes in large industrial facilities and have a fire in nature.

Bimetallic radiators installed. They, in contrast to aluminum is less susceptible to internal corrosion. Longer service life, but also the higher the cost.

The boiler tube attached by means of "American" - fittings with tube nut. This makes it easy to connect and enables painless disconnect for heating, such as washing of the boiler.

Installation of the heating system was completed in one day, however, ended in the late evening. Soldering pipes for the convenience and time savings made two soldering irons. One payali 32nd pipe and the other 25-e. It is certainly possible to set both nozzles on a soldering iron, but then not always, it turns out, are sealed in hard to reach places.

Also used gas and wrenches, pipe cutting scissors, fum-tape.

When you first start there was a leak in the three radiators. The reason was the poor quality fum-tape. Radiators collected separately, probably a little rushed and did not finish.

The system has been running for a year. Gas flow appreciable saving. Although it is not only the replacement of heating, but also to repair.
