We decided to sheathe our old log house siding

Last year we decided to sheathe our old log house with siding, so that the view was better, and prevent further damage and cracking log. As the experience in carrying out similar work was not ordered finish in a local company, which carries out any construction work from the foundation to the roof.

Log cabin home was made on the basis in the "bowl" and some logs were at a distance of more than 30 cm. During the work on all sides of the house with the help of the screwdriver secured special brackets on which the fixed metallic profile.

The verticality of their attachment was monitored by a building level. As the level was short, tied it with tape to the long wooden bar.

Insulation foam did accordingly dispensed with steam and water proofing. The design is already too easy.

Fastening siding started from the lower strap and further producing trim upwards.

All bends in the corners closed with metal corners green.
