Edison lamp: lighting "antique" in a modern interior
What else can sort of come up with interior designers to surprise us? Correctly! Nothing! All have long been invented, however, not all has been used at the time of the invention. Only now things that 10 years ago in the interior would seem at least strange, become fashionable trends. And Edison lamp - proof. The whole world is literally "mad" to them!
The oldest form of practical conventional incandescent lamp was invented by Thomas Edison in 1879. Familiar bulbs look very different from their own "progenitors." In the design of modern interiors uses the analogy is most of those old light bulbs.
Edison bulbs are now being used by designers, can have various forms: in the form of bulb, candle or cone, tube, cone-shaped or spherical. An interesting effect is achieved when a plurality of lights of different shapes are combined into a single lighting structure.
They are used in many different ways. For example, hung on cords of different lengths, are attached to the wooden lath, are combined in a whole composition design simulating old tire. As the chandeliers and all can use a single bulb of Edison, but the largest size.
Of course, these lights can not just like that to take and hang in any room. It is important to respect for style! The most important bulb Edison looked at areas in the loft and industrial. Acceptable in minimalist interiors and partly in vintage. Excluded in the luxury classic or hi-Teke.
I really like these light bulbs. It stops only one. Very wasteful. Many of us have long switched to a more energy-saving lamps. Incandescent lamps - this is a huge power consumption. But if you think that style is worth it, then you will approach it exactly!
