Gift for a child who loves to paint
This thing, I did a few years ago as a gift. And it's a small sketchbook, made of beech wood.
In size it is calculated on A4 sheets. Dividers inside is simply a wooden slats, which can be placed on another, or removed completely.
The lid is opened at an angle of about 110 degrees. This limitation is set to the rotation point and the location of hinges. When opening the rear part of the cover abuts against the rear of the base.
This product has its own characteristics. It was conceived and was done so as to create the impression of a box made of solid board. To do this, I did the sidewall of the end sections and tried to pick up the texture of the gluing. The same was done for the front and rear sidewalls.
The bottom and top cover tried to stick together so that in the place of gluing texture coincide.
Hinges and latches are made of ash. I had little tinker with the movable part of the latch to secure them in a thin front wall. But everything turned out well and reliably.
Opening angle and the turning point for the loop I expected in SketchUp. On this program, I have already written here - "Opportunities and where to download" and here - "Basics for Beginners".
Even offer a small video review of the easel.
Gift liked and extensively used for its intended purpose.
Besides easel, this box can be used as a folder for papers, drawings, photographs and the like.
Thank you for reading. I will be glad of your support in the form of a husky and a subscription to the channel.
