Long wanted to buy his workshop marking gauge. I looked more and more on the individual machines and did not succeed to carve out money for a purchase. But more is needed and jointer ...

And recently I visited my bright idea to look in the direction of the combined surface and thickness machines. Appreciated the amount of planing work that I had in the past few years, I realized that the width of the blades 300 mm are not so basic, and decided to take a combined machine.

Looked at reviews on the Internet, I checked that there are local shops and decided to stay on the machine Bison SRF-204-1500 1500W.

Main characteristics - planing width 204 mm, length 740 mm planer table, workpiece thickness for thicknesser maximum 120 mm, at least 5 mm. The engine 1500 W, 9000 revolutions per minute. Fuller can be viewed on the websites, which offer this machine.

The feedback on these machines met, saying that they had tables curves. In the store when buying checking line and found that this machine tables fairly smooth.

At the factory knives were set higher than necessary, and at jointing step was obtained, but bundled with the machine is a template for the installation of knives and on it are easy to customize.

Direct pattern portion is flush with the upper arc point in the template. To adjust sufficiently loosen the blades, put the pattern on the fixed table, press the blades and tighten the mounting template.

The machine has a plastic protection, it also serves to connect Chip.
