Experiment sharpening drills "Ballerina". Results and conclusions
Lights... on fiberboard is still normal, but on plywood and wood burning.
I'm talking about the bit "Ballerina" or another - krugorez.
When I acquired this drill I had hoped not just to do with it large openings, but also cut out of plywood and wooden rollers. In addition, the packaging of the drill has been written, it is for the wood and plywood.
Knives on this drill initially have a two-way sharpening and soft and thin materials (chipboard, MDF) they are normally cut, and thick and harder materials start to burn.
To solve your problem, I decided to resharpen knives from this type of drills on how to mill or teeth in a circular saw.
At the beginning of the experiment, I grind off one side of each blade that was a possibility to drill through the old and at the same time it was possible to deploy the blades to drill a new sharpening.
In the first embodiment (knives cut the old) was such a pattern:
Knuckle turned on by burnt wood and plywood. In the second embodiment, when turned knives turned roller and smooth the opening.
For clarity, it is better to look at the video.
After placing the video on YouTube has received various comments... some strange with reference to the metal turners, others that design engineers have come up all right, but I'm the type of people who spoil it. But there was a comment with robust solutions and a link to their understanding of the situation.
This article on the site of Mark Fisher -Finalization krugoreza. In the future, I modified my "Ballerina" in view of the material and is still quite satisfied with the result.
Thank you for reading, and in the next publication, I will tell you how this transformation has helped me to make a handy tool for grinding
I will be glad of your support in the form of a husky and a subscription to the channel.
