New tool for drill Ballerina of the old saw blade

The adjustable circular drills (Ballerina) cutters initially usually blunt and must be sharpened. Or even reground. About regrinding of the drills I wrote earlier here.

Now I made a new tool for this drill out of the old saw blade, and he showed himself surprisingly well.

To begin, I marked out on the saw blade cutter.

Then the drilled hole for fastening the tool. This drive was easy drilled usual drills on metal.

Next, using a grinder made two long cut.

Across I made a shallow cut, and nadpilennaya part easily broken off.

Further, also with the help of the cutter grinders gave the desired shape, so that it fits snugly into the mounting slot.

And then set on a circular cutter drill. I set course so that they drill in a clockwise direction.

And of course you need to check how this tool to work. To test the use of plywood 15 mm.

Cuts amazing. No comparison with previous cutters.

Cut out the circle becomes quite smooth as well as the opening of it.

Cutter for samples made one. After testing, I decided one and leave. It is easier to configure for different drill diameters.
