Here's a door I found recently in his home.

This door I did in my home studio. The process was unhurried. When was the time, he engaged in the door.

I did it out of material left over from other projects.

First prepare the board for the box and the door frame.

Next, sliced ​​boards in the size of width and length. For the box had to glue the boards.

At Fraser made slots for the panels. Since decided to make panels with a heater, the grooves made of 32 mm wide.

After producing the panels for the slots on the horizontal strapping detail spikes made using a circular saw and a device for it.

Next, using the router, template guide and template made grooves in the vertical parts of the door frame.

And then I assembled the door.

Doorframe collected on glue.

Panels made in the form of a package of two plywood pieces and two layers of polyethylene foam between them. Insulation thickness was 20 mm and 32 mm - the thickness of the panels turned.

After assembling the door he pulled the clamps until the glue dries.
