And it happens not because I want to do everything across.
- Firstly, I always ponder why and what I'm doing. And I understand the logic of it is very necessary process.
- And secondly their finances dictate. And if I see sensible options to save, then I go along this path.
Such examples on your channel, I described many. And here is another case of my adjustments.
Installation of the roof.
Already a lot of preparatory work has been done.
- Rafters set.
- Membrane bed.
- Crate mounted.
It is time for the most metal. But before that, according to the rules, You need to do a few things, which then will be very difficult to perform, and in some cases impossible.
It ❗ three parts - a fascia board, drip, hooks for drainage system.
But I'll tell you why I did not put it.
1️⃣ frontal board.
In fact it is just a decorative element, or the basis for finishing trim.
✅ At this stage of my building, it's just an unnecessary element to which you want to spend the time that I have so little.
The fact that the fascia board will be necessary, I do not deny. The main question is whether I will be able to set its mounting field of all other elements.
My answer is yes. Cornice strip - it is the only thing that could prevent to do it. But in practice, I have seen that this is not the case (I installed it, I still will).
2️⃣ drip.
Many even confuse this element with Cornice strip, although they have different functions.
Drip serves to drain moisture from the front board, which can flow through the membrane.
✅ I did not use a drip, for the banal reason - finances. Of course if it was a key element, then the money would I have identified. But to spend about 6000 rubles, without what (in my opinion) Can do, I do not want.
Concrete solutions, I have not yet invented... 😁. The only thing that did - it releases the membrane.
But there are some ideas. But more on that later ...
3️⃣ Hooks for gutter system.
I'm talking about the most reliable option. It is attached under the metal.
But here, for me there is one main question: Will I even put a drainage system?
How many would not seem strange, this option is also possible. But until the end, I have not decided yet, and in extreme cases, there is always the possibility to install another, albeit less reliable option hooks.
