Fatigue: What it is and how to neutralize?

A dozen times I've heard from the "experienced builders," the phrase "metal fatigue" in his life, but the question "what is it?" only one of them could give me a clear answer. That is what prompted me to write this article.

So, what exactly is metal fatigue?
