How to make a file for the tree to the appropriate profile

In the manufacture of pre-Christmas orders came the task of making an oblique groove in the details.

Paz made using a circular saw and of course the groove surface required additional treatment.

In this form of obtuse angle even quite easy to polish, but with an acute interior will tinker.

You still need to polish, so I decided to make a file repeating the profile of this groove.

To do this, take a scrap of plywood, thickness freely passing into the slot.

At the same setup the saw cut at the first edge of the plywood and then the bar, which will serve as the basis for a file.

On this basis pasted strip nazhdachki.

Used contact adhesives. To be safe, smeared with glue and plywood and nazhdachku.

A suitable cord pressed nazhdachku.

After drying, the file turned out, the corresponding profile.

Of course I did not expect a full day before the glue dries. I waited for 10 minutes after application and 10 minutes after bonding. Then I began grinding grooves.

Processing one groove such a file takes no more than 3 minutes.

So we get a file to grind faster and smoother than sandpaper wrapped around the bar.
