Useful homemade from the usual corner! Mini machine shop

Today I'll show you how to make a very simple and useful home-made for the home workshop, the manufacture of which will take no more than half an hour!

For this necessary piece of homemade conventional metallic bracket 30 at 30 mm (can be larger), about 12 cm in length and a thickness of 3 - 4 mm. I just lay around a corner, I gently brought into the proper form (remove rust and polished one side).

In the beginning you need to do the layout. Draw a line down the center and corner points 5 set at 2.5 - 3 cm apart.

Kern workpiece and drill two holes in the corner edges of a drill diameter of 4 mm. Then do countersink holes (you can use a drill diameter of 7-8 mm).

Now we take a block of wood thickness of 2 - 3 cm, the same length as the area (any bar width not less than 3 cm).

And fasten it to a metal corner screws.

Now drill three holes of different diameters: 8, 10 and 12 mm (diameter of the holes arbitrary and will depend on your needs).

When the holes are ready, you need to make another marking. Measure out from the edge of the hole 2.5 mm and set three points, they have turned out to approximately the same distance from each other. Repeat a similar layout with all holes Kern workpiece and drill a hole to a depth of 2-3 mm drill diameter of 7 mm.

It should turn so that the holes blocked each other and formed a kind of cutting teeth.

On this, our home-made ready! Now we press this device in a vise or clamps fix it on the table. Take the square rail hole size slightly larger diameter (0.5 - 1 mm), slightly tapering ends, insert it into the drill through the rail and miss the desired hole diameter.

Thus we get a mini-machine for the production of round wooden sticks of various diameters, from which you can make boring machine (Chepik) handles for tools, use them as parts for any product or simply used to make a variety of in the works crafts. And by making a larger diameter hole, the cuttings can be done even for garden tools.
