Brazier-feast for the eyes: did it yourself

Good morning, subscribers! Today I will share with you my joy: I made such a wonderful stone grill for my parents in the country, on which my summer residents can safely cook pilaf, meat, fish soup and whatever their heart desires.

And here is a photo of our bra:

In terms of money, about 700-750 rubles were spent on its arrangement. I bought only paving slabs in two colors (I took them by the piece) and hewn stones like paving stones. The rest was found on the site.

How to make a brazier with your own hands?

At the first stage, I cleared the place for the future structure from the grass and brought the necessary building materials: tiles and paving stones, I found two colors of crushed stone.

Then in the center of the resulting "edge" with a shovel dug a depression 40-50 centimeters deep. I didn't measure it exactly, and it's not that important, I think.

Then he covered the depression with fine gravel. I did not buy it, it was found on the site with my parents. Fortunately, you only need 3-4 buckets, no more. At the ends of the pit I laid rounded paving stones in one layer.

I spread the subsequent layers of paving stones. I made a brazier with a height of only 4 bricks, I think it makes no sense to build higher: it holds enough firewood, and the heat goes up well.

Then I covered the perimeter of the barbecue with paving slabs of two colors: at the edges - red, in the center - gray. And I covered the space between the brazier and its edging with soft fine gravel.

We load the firewood, and the grill is ready.

Due to the fact that the paving stones lie under their own weight, and not on the solution, oxygen always enters the brazier, which supports combustion.
