HPL panels: what are they and can they be used at home?

HPL - panels are a functional cladding material. These panels are made from wood by high pressure pressing. The woody part of the panel is protected from all sides by an acrylic laminate.

Cons of HPL panels
- The main disadvantage of the panels is their relatively high price. A square meter of material costs 2,000 rubles. In addition, L-shaped brackets and disc dowels are needed to fix it, which also increases the cost of finishing the house.
All the same, all new materials are very expensive at first. We hope that over time, HPL panels will become more affordable, and such beauty will be more common in suburban construction:
