How much does it cost to build a triangular house and is it really cheaper than usual?
If you have read my previous article, then you know about our "project for the savvy" with my wife - the idea to build a triangular house on the banks of the Volga, which will be leased to the residents of our metropolis and vacationers.

In the same article I will tell you about how a triangular house will be built and how much it can result in. I think the article can be a useful guide for those who are also considering the option of building a triangle house.
So, let's go point by point:
Triangular houses are traditionally built using frame-panel technology: a frame is made of wood (rarely welded from metal), and the space between the guides is filled with insulation. Most often it is mineral or stone wool. Less often - polystyrene or ecowool.
Power frame we will make from planed boards of chamber drying 150 * 50 * 6000 mm. We decided to abandon the 150 * 150 bar because of its high cost and inconvenience of installation (too heavy).
Let's just reduce the pitch of the board to 590 mm (the width of the insulation sheet). This decision is justified, because the roof (it is a wall) of a triangular house does not collect snow on itself, which means that the load on it is not so high. It is enough to extinguish the wind load - aerodynamics to help.
Warming. As you may have guessed, I will put the boards more often and on the width of the insulation 59 cm - which means that Rockwool stone wool or any other worthy analogue for the same money will be used.
The thickness of the insulation in our latitude - 150 mm, I will adhere to it, since the width of the frame power board allows it.
Vapor barrier and wind and moisture protection - ordinary dense films from series "A" and "B" Izospan. I have already checked their reliability more than once, so I will trust the insulation films of my house.
Foundation. I write about him in the last place because, having told that the house is a frame, everything is already obvious with it - bored piles and a grillage. I trust only such a fundamental combination, even for light buildings like our triangular house.
For the money I plan to keep within 450,000 rubles, building according to the principle #do it yourself. Will come out cheaper than a regular house!
