I decided to surprise my wife and made a yummy for tea. I show you how to make chocolate toffee for a penny
As a child, my grandmother often pampered me with delicious homemade delicacies. But most of all I adored her chocolate toffee, which I made with great pleasure with her. The recipe for their preparation is so simple that I coped with this task without any problems. It has been a long time, but I still remember how to cook them.
And so, one beautiful spring morning, I decided to surprise his wife and made this delicacy for tea. My wife really liked these toffee and she asked indignantly: “Why have you never made them? It's so yummy! " After that, I had to cook them almost every day))).
These chocolate toffee contain only natural products, and their cost is just penny and now I will share this recipe with you! To prepare this delicacy, we need only three ingredients: butter, cocoa powder and condensed milk (at the end I will calculate the cost of toffee).
We also need a saucepan with a thick bottom. For example, I have a saucepan designed for an induction cooker with a bottom thickness of about 15 mm.
And so, first of all, we pour the whole jar of condensed milk into the pan (I bought it at a share for 72 rubles).
Now add 3 to 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder. This is approximately 25 - 30 grams. (a package of cocoa costs 67.99 rubles, which means 30 grams is about 23 rubles).
Then you need to mix everything thoroughly. It will take a little patience, since cocoa is a capricious product and you won't be able to mix it with condensed milk quickly.
We stir for 3 - 5 minutes (until the mass becomes homogeneous and all the lumps disappear).
Now add a tablespoon of butter (about 30 grams) to this mass. A pack of oil costs 112 rubles, which means 30 grams is about 16.80 rubles.
Then we put the pan on medium heat (if you have induction, set the voltage to 800 W) and constantly stir the chocolate mass until it boils. After that, we cook our sweetness for about 10-12 minutes over low heat (200 - 500 W), until the mass thickens (be sure to constantly stir it so that it does not burn).
After that, we take a silicone mold, put the resulting mass into it and distribute it evenly over the entire surface. Then we pack it in a plastic bag and let it cool for an hour. Then we send the chocolate mass to the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
That's it, the chocolate toffee is almost done! We cut our mass with a knife into square pieces and sprinkle them with cocoa or powdered sugar (whichever you prefer) on top. Thus, we get almost half a kilogram of butterscotch for only 112 rubles.. I wish you bon appetit!
