How to get rid of mice forever: time-tested live traps
If you live in a country house or in the summer you are at the dacha, then you inevitably faced the problem of mice nesting in the premises of the house. Usually mice choose utility rooms - attic, pumping room or basement, but in some cases they tend to get into the kitchen - closer to food.
I propose to consider in this article a time-tested way to get rid of mice - the so-called live trap, which the villagers use with might and main.
DIY mousetrap
Everyone can make this simplest mousetrap to make. The sequence of actions is as follows:
- take an old newspaper and blot it with water. Then we leave to dry near a heater or battery.
- we take an iron (this is important!) bucket of at least 10 liters in volume and put it in a place where mouse droppings were noticed or their hole is visible. Raise the handle of the bucket vertically, fix it with wire in this position.
- we put the dried newspaper on top of the bucket and cut holes in it.
- we attach the bait to the handle of the bucket - sunflower seeds or cheese wrapped in gauze.
- we lean against the bucket the pieces, along which the mice will crawl into the trap.
The principle of operation is as follows: The mouse reaches for the bait and falls to the bottom of the bucket. How to deal with it further - only you decide.
