Homemade mosquito repellent worth 12 rubles
If you do not like blood-sucking insects as much as I do, in a month or two you will probably need this useful advice. Our #Garden and cottage are constantly attacked by mosquitoes, but last year I found a killer method.
For the trap, we need:
- plastic bottle with a volume of at least 1.5 liters;
- sugar - 2 tablespoons;
- yeast - a pinch;
- knife;
The algorithm of actions is as follows:
We take a plastic bottle (mine is green, but the color does not matter) and carefully cut it just below the edge that separates the neck from the even cylinder.
As a result, we get two parts: a separate neck, a separate cylinder.
Now pour a couple of tablespoons of ordinary white sugar into the lower part, fill it with water (about 150 ml). We mix. After that, add literally 1 gram of yeast to the sugar.
Now we put the upper part of the bottle (which is with a neck) inside the lower part (which is in the form of a cylinder).
IMPORTANT:
The neck must not come into contact with water! Leave a 1-2 cm gap.
The result will not be long in coming!
The mixture of sugar and yeast will gradually emit carbon dioxide, which attracts mosquitoes from all over the suburban area. By the way, this is how mosquitoes find us, humans - we breathe out carbon dioxide. The mosquito will fly into a narrow neck and drown in the water.
We spent only 12 rubles to make the trap!
