Internal wicket door lock made from a seat belt: a monument to Russian ingenuity
Our people are distinguished by their amazing ability to find a way out of any, even the most difficult situation, let alone the arrangement of their garden, vegetable garden or the construction of a country house. This is a real testing ground for Russian (or Russian?) ingenuity!
Today I will share an incredible idea of how to close a summer cottage gate from strangers and its very successful execution.
The hero of the day is a wicket door lock made from an old car seat belt. Admire:
With the help of a simple system of four bolts, a pair of thick metal plates (on the right) and welding, you can make a chic lock for a gate.
The main charm is that to open such a castle from the outside impossible:
which means that only the owner will be able to let guests to his site.
Of course, such a system is only suitable for closing the wicket when one of the owners remains on the site. But this is only a summer option, and it does not pretend to be a year-round castle.
