Summer Resident Commandment: Do Not Do Good
The main commandment of a summer resident (and a resident of the private sector): "Do not do good - you will not get evil."
If you live in an ordinary city apartment, then you have critically few points of contact with neighbors. Well, you will cross on the staircase, or in the elevator. The only discomfort that neighbors in the city can cause is noise through the walls, or they can flood.
In the private sector and in summer cottages, everything is completely different. Every gardening is a tangle serpent contradictions. And there is a conflict of interest here at every step: someone blocked Sadovaya Street (alley) - a scandal, moved the fence 3 cm - a scandal, hung an SIP-wire over the site - again a scandal.
Neighbors do not know how to live in a dacha peacefully: either instincts wake up, or there is really too much "social" in the dacha and there is not enough "personal".
The best way to avoid conflicts and live in peace is complete autonomy.
For me it:
- own communications, and everything: its own electricity, water and sewerage;
- high fence: the higher the fence, the better the neighbors;
- security cameras: the all-seeing eye will save dashing heads from rash acts;
- dog: whatever one may say, a hefty dog is not only 50 kg of wool, but also kind and well-mannered neighbors.
- small number of contacts: communication only with those who immediately say what they think and do not play double games.
Perhaps I am wrong and my negative experience leaves an imprint - correct me in the comments.
