I told my neighbor how to get rid of the ants: he was scattered in thanks for half an hour
Sharing everyday experience is a good thing (I thought when I suggested to my neighbor the simplest way that helps to get rid of ants in the garden). In fact, everything turned out a little differently, but more on that at the end of the article, and I'll start by sharing the method with you.
So how does semolina help you get rid of garden ants?
You can press the trigger of the mechanism called "anteater" with the help of ordinary decoy - you just need to scatter it in the places where the ant colony accumulates. How it works?
Ants, feeling the enchanting aroma of fresh grains of semolina, cannot deny themselves the pleasure, and are in a hurry to carry this delicacy to their hole.
Interesting fact: ant holes go 1-1.5 meters deep into the ground.
And in the ant hole, the worst thing happens - a ruthless hierarchy begins to operate - the best delicacy goes to a queen ant or, if you like, a princess - a creature that is completely responsible for the birth of new members of the colony.
By the way, the august person looks like this:
Devouring semolina, the princess, like any lady from high society, cannot get enough, and absorbs as much semolina as her little body can accommodate. Then physics comes into play, and the absorbing properties of semolina (translation: the ability to absorb moisture) withdraw from circulation all the liquid that nature has laid in the princess's body.
As a result, the latter dies, and the ant colony is left without a monarch and an influx of new ants. After 7-10 days, the rest of the sunburned ants eat up the remnants of the semolina, and there is no trace of the anthill.
Why was my neighbor unhappy with my advice?
No, he was not tormented by pangs of conscience. The reason is that the sparrows volunteered to help the ants eat the semolina - they ate all the cherries, which had just begun to expose their red barrel to the summer sun. And your humble servant was to blame for this.
