Rules for laying cables in the ground: 7 commandments of the experienced
Hello everyone! Sooner or later, this article will definitely come in handy for you, because sooner or later you will get tired of the SIP hanging over your site. And also "air" can interfere with the passage of high special equipment: drilling rig, crane, dump truck, etc.
So, how to properly bury a cable in the ground: my set of rules.
Some of the rules may seem trivial to you, but for some they will be new and useful. Have patience to read to the end.
First.
The minimum depth to which the cable should be buried is 70 cm. The optimal one is 100 cm.
Second.
The optimum trench width is 30 cm. With such a width, the worker will be able to go down into the trench, and its laying will take less time, which means you will pay less for the excavator.
In our city, renting an excavator costs 1,300 rubles. per hour, and if a 30 cm trench is dug 20% faster than a 40 cm one, then when laying 200 meters of cable you will save at least 4,200 rubles. Nice bonus.
Third.
For laying in the ground, use a cable (A) Vbbshv, or (a) VVG but in a polyethylene pipe
And do not save - buy a pipe of a larger diameter - suddenly, you have to pull another cable into the same system ...
Fourth.
The thickness of the sand bed UNDER the cable is 15 cm, ABOVE the cable - not less than 10 cm, even higher - a layer of brick.
Used - the brick will protect your power system from accidental diggers.
A "Caution cable" tape is rolled over the brick. Next, the soil is backfilled.
Fifth.
In critical places (intersection with the road), even an armored cable, I recommend laying pipes or special corrugations in HDPE. In these places, the depth of the trench should never be less than 90 cm.
Sixth.
To tighten the cable into the pipe, buy a steel cable with a thickness of at least 3 mm. Better without braiding. It is easy to drive it into the pipe with a 20 cm shuttle made of a metal circle with a drilled hole.
