The foreman told what an ideal bath should be (video bonus at the end)
Hello gardening friends and lovers of hot steam in the steam room or sauna, this article is for you π₯. In it I will tell you my view on the ideal bathhouse and, perhaps, these theses will help someone to equip their bathhouse in a smart way.
Caution: the subjective opinion of the old builder and the bathhouse attendant is noticed in the article, if you don't agree - discussion of the comments.
π¨ First tip: ergonomics and dimensions
Make a wide (not less than 2.2 meters) steam room - so that the tallest member of the family can easily fit on the beds. But the optimal ceiling height in the steam room is 2 meters. The smaller the volume of the steam room, the faster it will warm up. But this does not mean at all that you need to save on space - the sauna should have 20-22 cubic meters of "air".
π Second advice. Provide a ladder in the floor.
A trap with an air lock will make it easier to clean the steam room and will remove all moisture that has spilled on the floor. No mold or mildew in the corners - a healthy and durable sauna.
π Third tip. Rest zone.
Everything is simple here - it should be, although many people save on it. Do not be stingy to make a separate room with a bench, a table and a window. You will rest there from the heat.
But still the best sauna I've ever seen is in Norway.
Here it is in the video:
Would you like to have a sauna or bath on the seashore?
I will be glad to read your advice and reasoning in the comments! π¬
