I stake on 50% vermicompost in tomato seedlings
This is an unusual transhipment of 3 weeks old super early tomato seedlings. For me personally, it seems that the era of vermicompost is beginning. And this is the first thorough experiment with him. Why I decided to do this, I wrote here
Here in such half-liter packages I loaded tomatoes from two hundred gram cups. Each bag has 12 rather large holes at the bottom.
Nuance: before transshipment, watered tomatoes in a couple of hours.
K1 and K2 (Christian F1) planted in the ground without the addition of vermicompost.
Tomatoes now take up much more space.
I create soil
This is the same soil "For seedlings" with Diatomite.
D1 and D2 (grade Daria) passed into the ground with 10% vermicompost by weight, set the scales with tare to zero, in the photo only the weight of the contents:
100 g of vermicompost
And 900 g of soil
Similarly, I made 25% vermicompost (by weight) for a pair of K3 and K4
50% (by weight) for D3 and D4.
For a couple of days I removed it from the phytolamps, to the second shelf of the rack.
I will water, as before, odd numbers with water, even with bacteria.
- Two bushes out of eight will be without vermicompost
- Two with 10% vermicompost
- Two with 25%
- Two with 50% vermicompost
Watering also: odd numbers with water, even times a week with bacteria (Kaliyvit, Phosphatovit and Azotovit)
About the same pick, comparison of the root system with different watering here
