I made window openings with and without a concrete lintel. I take off the props after half a year, and see what happened.
Concrete lintels, cast from U-blocks, and generally without anything... There are so many options for laying aerated concrete openings. In my house, I experimented with everything.
Half a year has passed since the moment I finished laying the walls. And all this time I did not remove the props from the lintels above the openings.
✅ Not that I was afraid of collapse... There was simply no reason, and they did not bother me.
But now, the time has come, in the near future I will be installing windows, so I need to see what happened there.
Filled concrete bulkhead.
How I did them, read here:

DIY concrete lintels. ❗The nuances of manufacturing and filling.
Many people write to me in the comments: "Where are your jumpers and armopoyas?"
Now I hope you can seethat all the concrete is poured between the blocks.
Of course, the boards did not fit perfectly from below, so the concrete is a few millimeters below the plane of the opening, but these are trifles. Finishing will fix everything.
❗ The main thing is that even a large opening stands securely, not to mention small ones.
All windows and doors on the first floor are made in this way.
In the attic, I was drawn to adventure.
Here I made openings without any concrete, and even without a retaining angle. Everything is made of aerated concrete only.
How it happened, read this article:
Window opening without lintel. Will such a construction stand?
But everything is in order here too:
The openings are small and the block holds itself well.
No cracks, or anything else, until I observe.
In fact, there is no load from above, but from shrinkage cracks, reinforcement, which I of course put in the masonry, should help.
So that everything has its application, the main thing is to do it in place.
