Scrap piles. The fence posts that have rotted in the ground for 20 years will now be the foundation.

There is no garbage on your site. And if you are a self-builder, then you simply simply have to be able to "from go... to mold candy."

Here is another epic of my activities on my site. Building a house is a changeable thing: today you work hard from morning till night, and tomorrow you have to interrupt. So I had such a moment. But on my site, I will never be left without work.

I'm already wrote an article about his change house, which has been standing on my site for over 20 years. My dad brought it back when I was a child. She stood on... I don't even know what. Now it can be said to be on the ground.

So, I decided to raise it to a new foundation.

And for this I will use pipes from under the old poles.

They are the same age as the change house. And although all this time they were in the ground, and one can say without any processing, they have been preserved quite well. So, that will serve more than one decade.

  • To begin with, the blanks were cut.

The change house is small, so that four supports in the corners will be enough.
  • I decided to plug the bottom, for better stability of the piles. For this I used all the same parts of the old fence.

But a couple of questions remain:

  1. Supports 1 meter long, when the soil freezes 1.2 meters, is this normal? so of course not, but I'm not betting on the house. Even if the piles walk a little, it's okay.
  2. The protection of the supports is also in question. Although these pipes will rot for more than a dozen years, you still want to protect them as much as possible from moisture.
Friends, share your thoughts in the comments, your experience will be very useful to me.

Well subscribe to the channel and like it 👍. Putting piles is one thing, and raising the "iron house" on them is another story.
