Fastening of sewage pipes. I thought I'd buy fasteners and hang them calmly... But even here I had to "invent" something.
Standard fasteners are only suitable for standard buildings! And on my self-construction, unusual moments constantly appear. And this is already becoming the norm.
Every time I start a new job, I first imagine the process in my head. And 99% of the time, in reality, everything goes wrong.
At first glance, the simplest work, installing sewer pipes, also made me wiggle my brains.
The usual clamp for attaching pipes, of course, came in handy for me. But only "upstairs", in the house itself.
And in the basement, everything turned out to be more complicated.
There it was necessary to fix the pipes not to the wall, but to the ceiling. The standard length of the self-tapping screw was not enough (it was necessary to make the necessary bias), so I had to "farm".
Of course, many will say that you need to buy longer screws, or even put studs, but this is "not our way" ...
The best material is the one on hand right now.
- Therefore, I made the lengthenings from a bar 50 to 50. I still have it from the lathing to the roof.
- And small metal corners.
It turned out even more stable than with a long self-tapping screw. With such a fastener, the pipes do not move not only up and down, but also to the sides.
subscribe to the channeland like 👍. The pipes are still there, but there is no septic tank yet... Much still lies ahead.
