Why didn't I start removing the double-glazed windows when installing windows? I do the job without unnecessary actions.

The simpler the better! Also, the less unnecessary movements, the easier and faster the work. And when you do this for the first time, it is better not to burden yourself with unnecessary processes.

Well, my construction continues, and the process of installing windows with my own hands is in full swing.

And, like most of the work on my construction site, this process was not without its peculiarities.

No matter how much I looked, examples of installing plastic windows with my own hands, everywhere, in the process, double-glazed windows were pulled out of the frame to facilitate work. And only in one or two examples, I saw that people put assembled windows.

And I decided to go the second way, and here's why:

Fastening to anchor plates.

Only in this case it is possible to mount without removing the glass from the frame.

If you decide to put the window on the dowel, drilling the frame through, then it will not work through the glass unit стек.

Safety of glasses.

Probably, only beginners have such a phobia ...

Of course, I speak for myself, and I had a fear of pulling the double-glazed windows out of the frame, precisely because of the fear of damaging them (smashing, chipping). Of course, people with experience relate to this easier, but as a beginner, I wanted to do without unnecessary worries.

Comparatively small windows.

This is also an important criterion on which my choice depended.

Only five windows, in my house, allowed me to do this alone.

They all had one removable sash, and even so, the window weighed impressively. But I had the strength to insert them into the openings.

But one blind window, and one with three sections (where only the middle sash was removed) I put already with the help of my second half, which helps me out throughout the construction of the house

It is possible to lift it (albeit difficult), but it is already difficult to manipulate it when you insert it into the opening.

Of course I have nothing to compare with, but this option, without removing the double-glazed windows, seemed to me simple and quick, although somewhat heavy. And for beginners, suitable, tested!
