The neighbors thought I was building a pool, but it turned out to be a toilet 🤣. I removed the formwork from the septic tank, and carefully examined this miracle.

Sometimes, when starting a process at my construction site, I myself do not fully understand how I will do some things. I can imagine what the neighbors think about my decisions.

In the last article, I described the whole difficult process of pouring concrete, my homemade septic tank (be sure to read).

Today we will unpack this present...

The formwork stood for a couple of weeks, and there was no point in waiting further.

Breaking, as they say, is not building. Therefore, the process went quickly and easily. Fortunately, everything was on self-tapping screws, so there was no need to spend effort on pulling out nails.

The most interesting thing was to open the first wall, not knowing what was waiting there ...

But the excitement was in vain:

The wall was completely shed, more or less even and smooth. And yet, it was not in vain that I nailed the film from the inside, the formwork very easily moved away.

But it was not without difficulties.

In those places where the OSB sheets were close to the ground, it took a lot of effort to pull it all out ...

But in the end, the victory was mine.

My concrete septic tank was completely emptied.

Of course, this structure cannot be called the ideal of the construction business, but he met all the necessary, for me requirements.

• The right sizes.
• Complete filling of the walls (although there are small shoals).
• And some curvature, only gives individuality... ✌

And the most that was not funny, two of my neighbors (who came to my site), decided that I decided to build a pool ...

✅ Of course, few people would think to build a septic tank on the surface of the earth, and then bury it. So I understand them... Let them think that I will soon invite them to swim 😁.

But in reality, even greater adventures awaited me. I decided to save money and do everything myself??? Don't expect an easy way!
